歌手背景
Wiz Khalifa，本名Cameron Jibril Thomaz，於2006年發行了自己的首張專輯"Show and Prove"，並於2007年籤約華納兄弟唱片公司。2008年，他歐陸舞曲風格單曲"Say Yeah"，獲得城市電臺（urban radio）的播放並登上Rhythmic四十佳和熱門說唱歌曲榜。Khalifa與華納兄弟分道揚鑣，並於2009年11月發行了自己的第二張專輯"Deal or No Deal"。他的混音帶"Kush and Orange Juice"於2010年4月問世，並提供免費下載。接著，他和大西洋唱片公司籤約，他與大西洋唱片合作的首支單曲"Black and Yellow"廣受歡迎，登上公告牌百強單曲榜頭名。在該廠牌下的首張專輯"Rolling Papers"於2011年3月29日發布。

See You Again是由美國著名說唱歌手Wiz Khalifa和新人Charlie Puth共同獻聲的一首歌曲。這首歌收錄於電影"速度與激情7"的原聲帶中，也是電影的片尾曲兼主題曲。這首歌在電影中是為了緬懷因車禍逝世的演員Paul Walker而出現的。
在速度與激情系列電影的主力演員Paul Walker意外去世後，電影製作方希望製作一首歌曲以紀念和緬懷Paul，於是他們召集了超過50名創作人共同商量這首歌的創作，這其中就包括了當時名氣並不高的Charlie Puth。他與朋友Justin Franks一起寫了一段基本的歌詞，並將歌名取為"See You Again"，上交給了製作方。原本兩人以為就這樣石沉大海，結果卻收到了各方面的好評。
