演奏家簡介：
劉雲天，我國著名旅美青年鋼琴家，華夏琴英全球華人鋼琴家，星海音樂學院鋼琴系教師，廣東省音樂藝術交流協會副會長，廣東省音樂家協會會員，中國音樂金鐘獎有史以來最年輕的金獎得主；獲得「霍洛維茲國際鋼琴大賽」最高榮譽的中國選手、載入音樂界殿堂級鋼琴比賽——比利時伊莉莎白皇后國際鋼琴比賽史冊的中國鋼琴家、先後為朱鎔基、溫家寶兩位總理現場獨奏的音樂使者。
劉雲天5歲開始學習鋼琴，1999年9月以專業總分第一的成績考入星海音樂學院附中，2003年起師從烏克蘭鋼琴教育家卡琳娜·波波娃教授。2004年，他以17歲的年齡，獲得中國音樂最高獎——金鐘獎鋼琴比賽金獎，這也是此項賽事有史以來最年輕的金獎選手。
2005年7月，劉雲天以各科「全優」的成績畢業於星海音樂學院附中。同年免試直升星海音樂學院鋼琴系鋼琴專業(獲四年全額獎學金)繼續師從波波娃教授。在校期間他曾多次參加國際大賽並得到世界知名鋼琴家、教育家李名強，陳宏寬，鄧泰山，William·Grand·Naboure，Malcom·Bilson，Tamas·Ungar教授的指導。2007年在烏克蘭舉行的世界頂級青年鋼琴家大賽「霍洛維茨國際青年鋼琴家大賽」中，劉雲天一舉奪得第二名（第一名空缺）。
2009年6月，劉雲天再次以專業成績第一名畢業於星海音樂學院，同年被星海音樂學院研究生部、美國曼哈頓音樂學院、德克薩斯州基督教大學和密蘇裡帕克（Park）大學同時錄取，最終選擇密蘇裡帕克（Park）大學，並獲得全額獎學金攻讀鋼琴演奏專業研究生。在赴美國留學深造的三年中，經我國著名鋼琴教育家周廣仁教授的鼎力推薦，劉雲天有幸成為了著名國際鋼琴大師、2001年「範·克萊本國際鋼琴大賽」冠軍得主尤丹尼奇教授首位中國留學生。在大師的指導下，演奏技藝與音樂素養得到飛躍性的提升。2013年5月，劉雲天獲得比利時伊莉莎白皇后國際鋼琴比賽決賽紀念獎，獲得在布魯塞爾Bozar大廳的演出機會，並受到比利時皇后的接見。2013年11月劉雲天獲得義大利科莫湖鋼琴學院的全額獎學金，成為該校歷史上第4位被錄取的中國鋼琴家，並繼續師從於尤丹尼奇教授與納博雷教授。2018年劉雲天被中央音樂學院鋼琴系錄取成為該院第一位鋼琴表演專業博士，師從韋丹文教授。目前劉雲天任教於廣州星海音樂學院鋼琴系。
作為一位活躍在國際音樂舞臺的鋼琴家，劉雲天先後在美國、德國、英國、日本、瑞典、義大利、芬蘭以及中國的北京、上海、天津、廣州，重慶等數十個國家和地區舉辦個人音樂會，合作過的樂團包括烏克蘭國家交響樂團，比利時國家交響樂團，堪薩斯城愛樂樂團，廣州交響樂團，瀋陽交響樂團等。
Yuntian Liu has charmed listeners acrossthree continents with his instinctive musicality and technical prowess. He is aprize winner in many competitions, includesthe final laureate of The Queen Elisabeth international piano competition(2013), 2nd place in the International Competition for YoungPianists in memory of Vladimir Horowitz (1st prize not awarded)(2007), first prize in Wiesbaden Klavierwettbewerb International Competition(2004), golden prize in Chinese National Music Competition 「Golden Bell」 (2004). He also gained academic awards as Yamaha music scholarship, The Kansas City music clubscholarship, Sigma Alpha Iota Scholarship,and has cooperated with Owen/CoxDance Group and Kansas Public Radio station.
Liu has performed at many countries aroundthe world, including China, Japan, USA, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Italy, andUkraine. Also he has appeared as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of theNational Philharmonic of Ukraine; the Belgium national symphony orchestra; theGuangzhou ,Shenyang and Tianjin Symphony Orchestras; Kansas City PhiharmonicSymohony Orchestra, and ICM Chamber Orchestra. Professors and concert artistsfrom whom he has taken master classes include Li Mingqiang, Zhou Guangren, ChenHung-kuan, Dan Thai Son, William Grant Naboré, MalcomBilson, Martino Tirimo and Tamás Ungár.
Liu was born in China in 1986 and began tostudy piano at the age of 5 with Li Song and Zhu Lin. From 1999 until 2004, hestudied with Xie Xiaohe in the Affiliated Middle School of Xinghai Conservatoryof Music in Guangzhou, China. After completing his pre-collegiate studies there,Liu was recommended to advance to the piano department of the Conservatorywhere he pursued his undergraduate degree from 2005 to 2009 under theinstruction of Professor Galyna Popova. From 2009, Liu studied with Van Cliburninternational piano competition gold medallist Stanislav Ioudenitch at ParkUniversity's International Center for Music USA, where he obtained his masterdegree on piano performance in 2011, and graduate certificate in 2013. Liu wasofficially invited to study at the world-wide renowned International pianoacademy of Lake Como in 2013 and continued his study with Prof. Nabore andProf. Ioudenitch. As a faculty member, Liu currently holds a position in pianodepartment, Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangzhou.
