在假期裡，新型冠狀病毒肺炎這個話題霸道地闖進了我們的生活。一場突如其來的疫情牽動著億萬中國人的心，也牽動著KKEC外籍老師們的心，他們雖然身在異國，但心裡卻一直惦記著孩子們的學習和健康，時刻密切關注著中國疫情的發展，並用他們的方式為中國加油！KKEC的小寶貝們也不甘示弱，同樣送上了溫暖的祝福。這跨越山海的人間溫情，給予了我們戰勝疫情的信心和勇氣。
The holiday has begun with an unprecedented challenge that affected every single person living not only in China, but also in other countries of the world. Despite being away from China, our own foreign teachers have been closely monitoring the epidemic situation and sending their support and love to all of us here, in China. Our foreign teachers are deeply concerned about their children’s wellbeing and inevitably interrupted learning that the kids have to endure due to the nation-wide quarantine. They are cheering for China and sending their best wishes in their own, special, way. We also have some of our own KKEC children sending their warm wishes and support too. The warmth of human hearts sent across the mountains, seas, and borders gives us confidence and courage to overcome the epidemic.

Being at home for so long makes you wonder what it’s like out there in the world. You know, children, the world is so big and beautiful! Let’s have a look! In the North, it snowed in Canada. In the South, in South Africa, many rare animals are roaming through the wild. Have you ever been there? How about Spain? What’s the weather like up there? Let’s have a look!
隔離不隔愛，KKEC的外教團隊衝破地域，
打破時差， 為小朋友們精心地準備了很多好玩的STREAM活動、有趣的故事和歌曲，還錄製了很多有教育意義的視頻。
同時為了提高空中課程的質量，大家都全力以赴，例如小組會議和年級組討論等。
Physical separation does not stop us from loving and caring for each other. KKEC’s foreign teachers are overcoming challenges of being in different time zones and in different countries to prepare and facilitate fun and educational activities specifically designed for our kids: games, STREAM activities, stories, songs, and do-it-yourself exercises. Furthermore, to enhance learning experience, all teachers are constantly attending to the classes』 chat groups and continuously discussing further opportunities to improve the flow of the distant learning in school’s chat groups.

In one of the grade’s chat groups, the topic 「How to better guide parents to improve their ability to facilitate children』 phonics reading at home」 was widely discussed.
