A cinephile is a film or movie enthusiast. A cinephile's passionate interest in cinema, film theory and film criticism is called cinephilia. The term is a portmanteau of the words cinema and philia, one of the four ancient Greek words for love.

「影迷（cinephile）」是指狂熱的電影愛好者。這些人對電影、電影理論及電影評論等的濃厚興趣英語中叫cinephilia，這個詞是由cinema和philia構成的合成詞，philia是四個表示「愛」的希臘詞彙之一。
