insist on
堅持要求，一定要求做某事

keep on
堅持，繼續
I have never won anything yet，but I intend to keep on until I do.我未曾取得過好成績，我打算堅持下去，直到成功。
persevere in/with/ at
堅持，固守做困難，有挑戰的事情。強調的是堅韌不拔，孜孜不倦。

persist in
堅持，繼續。側重點是「儘管有困難，有反對意見，也不改變最初的想法或者立場」。
