說起童年回憶，很多人第一反應都會想到重播了無數遍的經典--《西遊記》。
但是萬萬沒想到，《西遊記》配上英文的配音竟然這麼魔性，簡直讓人慾罷不能啊！
但英大隻想問一句，為什麼彌勒佛說起英文，竟然有種說rap的感覺！？（這是我見過最潮的彌勒佛）說到童年回憶，除了《西遊記》，很多人還會想起當年火到萬人空巷的《還珠格格》。22 years ago today, a cultural phenomena swept across Asia. Set in the 18th century and written by Taiwanese author Chiung Yao, My Fair Princess, also known as Return of the Pearl Princess or Princess Returning Pearl, told a Cinderella-esque story about Qianlong emperor.22年前的今天，一種文化現象席捲亞洲。《還珠格格》的故事設定在18世紀，由臺灣作家瓊瑤編寫，講述了一個跟乾隆皇帝有關的灰姑娘式的故事。The emperor mistakenly adopted a girl who he believed was his illegitimate daughter. Season 1 of the television costume show was aired between April 28 and May 29 of 1998. Leading women, Zhao Wei, Ruby Lin, and Fan Bingbing, portrayed lovable characters that endeared them to all viewers.皇帝錯誤地收養了一個他認為是自己私生女的女孩。該劇的第一季於1998年4月28日至5月29日播出。女主角趙薇、林心如和範冰冰塑造的可愛角色贏得了所有觀眾的喜愛。動詞endear的中文意思是「使受歡迎（或喜愛、愛慕）」，而詞組endear A to B的意思則是「使A喜愛B」。
但其實除了國內，《還珠格格》在其他國家也有一定的知名度，甚至也非常的火。
因此，《還珠格格》也有了各種各樣的配音版本，其中，英文配音算是比較不違和的，翻譯也比較到位。
著名脫口秀主持人柯南·奧布萊恩（Conan O'Brien）就曾和搭檔一起為劇裡的經典場景配過音。在配音過程中，這對活寶各種無釐頭、不正經、臨場發揮，都讓網友們直呼簡直太搞笑了！繼《還珠格格》之後，其實還有一些國產劇也火到了國外，成了現象級爆紅劇。《甄嬛傳》播出之後，收視率那是沒得說的，簡直就是紅遍大街小巷，當時還形成了紅極一時的「甄嬛體」。The drama that catapulted Chinese actress Sun Li to megastardom, tells the tale of how her character Zhen Huan rose through the ranks of the the imperial harem — from lowly Han concubine to finally Manchurian Empress Dowager.這部讓中國女演員孫儷一舉成名的電視劇，講述了她飾演的角色甄嬛是如何在後宮一路晉升，從一名地位低下的漢族小妾到最後成為滿族皇太后的故事。All the trials and tribulations the young woman faced, not to mention the dramatic face offs she had with worthy female contenders of inner court, told with vivid costumery! We are breathless just thinking about it.這位年輕女子所面臨的所有考驗和磨難，更不用說她與後宮有權有勢之人的戲劇性的對峙，都以生動的服飾布景講述了出來！一想到這些，就讓人感到窒息。inner作名詞有「內部」的意思，作形容詞的意思是「內部的、內心的」，比如「內在美」用英文說就可以是inner beauty。
inner的近義詞還有interior、inside、internal、inward等等。
直到現在，每年也都會重播並拿出來和新出的宮鬥劇作對比，可見這部劇在國內的影響之大。2015年，《甄嬛傳》正式在美國netflix的TVshows播出，因此我們也可以看到《甄嬛傳》英文版了。
可以看出，劇裡的臺詞翻譯成英文之後，跟中文比起來還是少了些味道。
但英文版已經儘量還原了原臺詞的含義，比如古文「必為之計深遠」， 在翻譯時就採用了解釋性的譯法。
將其白話的大概意思給翻譯出來，即「必須要做長遠打算，把未來都考慮好了」，再翻成英文。
在這之後，在海外引起了一定關注度的國產劇還有《琅琊榜》《楚喬傳》《三生三世十裡桃花》等等。Princess Agents is a 2017 Chinese television series based on the novel 11 Chu Te Gong Huang Fei written by Xiao Xiang Dong Er. It stars Zhao Liying, Lin Gengxin, Shawn Dou and Li Qin. The series aired on Hunan TV from 5 June to 1 August 2017.
《楚喬傳》是2017年的一部國產劇，改編自作家瀟湘冬兒的小說《11處特工皇妃》，由趙麗穎、林更新、竇驍和李沁領銜主演。該劇於2017年6月5日至8月1日在湖南衛視播出。
The story is unfinished and ends on a cliffhanger in the final episode. No sequel has been confirmed. Princess Agents is a commercial success, more than 40 billion views on Chinese streaming sites.
這個故事還未完待續，最後一集扣人心弦，目前還沒有續集的消息。《楚喬傳》獲得了商業上的成功，在中國的流媒體網站上有超過400億的播放量。
cliffhanger的中文意思是「懸念、扣人心弦的比賽」，比如「吊人胃口的結局」用英文就可以表達成cliffhanger endings。
主演趙麗穎也因此在《花千骨》之後又收穫了不少海外粉絲。許多網友對劇裡的情節、人物等都給出了熱烈討論，不少還在不停地催更，表示正在坐等英文字幕。
而看到裡面的英文字幕，英大發現確實都翻譯得比較貼切，很好地表達了原臺詞的含義。
很多俚語諺語還是採用的解釋性的譯法。
而且可以看到，不少翻譯都很精彩，比如「此一時彼一時」譯成times have changed，很好表現了「時機在變化」的意思。Based on Hai Yan's novel of the same name, Nirvana In Fire tells the story of betrayal that caused the deaths of 70,000 loyal army soldiers. It's much more than that. The characters who, let's say, have gone through hell, are not seeking revenge to make themselves feel better, but they are trying to find out the truth.不要被介紹騙了，以為這又是典型的復仇劇。《琅琊榜》遠不止於此。這些可以說是在鬼門關走過一道的角色，不是為了讓自己感覺更好而復仇，而是為了找出真相昭雪冤案。這些劇你都看過嗎？你還知道哪些在海外有知名度的國產劇？
