Lester Holt: Good evening, everyone. Public health officials are pleading with Americans to forego holiday travel and get-togethers in order to slow the spread of coronavirus.

Hundreds of travels were arriving from London where a highly contagious mutation of the coronavirus is spreading like wildfire as some 40 countries put a stop to the arrival of similar flights, the Ppresident-elect weighed in today.
