2017 年 3 月，這支平均年齡僅僅25歲的日本樂隊 經由 NewNoise 牽線首次來到中國，在北京和上海兩地初試啼聲，迅速掀起了復古自賞的狂潮，兩場演出門票均提前半個月售罄，更打破了NewNoise 在上海的演出票房紀錄。而後在香港和東南亞的巡演，也是場場爆滿， 毫無疑問， The fin. 已經成長為亞洲最具影響力的獨立流行樂團。2018年3月， NewNoise 特別榮幸將The Fin. 再次帶來中國8個城市，展開新專輯中國巡演。

The fin. 曲風深受 The Strokes、Washed Out、Beach Fossils 等樂團影響，2014 年底發行首張正式專輯《Days With Uncertainty》，超齡的破格音樂表現，與其他日本樂團截然不同的風格特色，在日本掀起了討論熱潮。隨後在2016年推出的EP 專輯《Through The Deep》更讓他們風靡全亞洲。
2017年The fin. 的樂隊成員移居英國倫敦，將更多的音樂創作和演出放在了英倫地區。常年活躍在各大演出舞臺的The fin.迅速俘獲了挑剔的英國樂迷的心。而在大洋另一端的日本，The fin. 的巡演不僅場場爆滿，再次榮登Fuji Rock 的舞臺，他們還擔任了Mew 2017世界巡演東京站的演出嘉賓 。

2017年7月，樂隊推出了全新EP ，收錄了最新創作的兩支單曲《Afterglow》和《Pale Blue》。EP 延續了樂隊帶有英倫風味的迷幻復古曲風， 一經推出就獲得了無數好評。11月，The fin. 的全新單曲《Outskirts》上線，2018年的 新專輯也已經蓄勢待發。

The fin. 即將在明年2月推出時隔3年的新專輯，這也是樂隊移居倫敦後的首張正式專輯。新專輯在倫敦的Dean Street Studio 完成錄製，更邀請到知名製作人Bradley Spence 擔任後期製作，他曾是Jamiroquai、 Passenger 以及 Alt-J 等大牌樂隊的製作人。此次中國巡演也將是The fin. 新專輯發行後的首個巡演，十分令人期待~
New Noise is very proud to present 8 shows for one of the hottest bands to emerge from Japan: the fin.! After quickly selling out their previous headlining shows in Shanghai and Beijing last year, the band will return to 8 cities in China to present their new album. The fin. sounds like a cross between M83 and Phoenix, citing chill wave acts Toro y Moi and Washed Out as influences. These youngsters have been creating a growing fanbase, selling out their shows all over Asia and playing massive festivals all over the world such as Fuji Rock, Summer Sonic, Rising Sun….
The band’s growing renown on western shores has led to a surge of media interest and prime headline slots on The Great Escape Festival and SXSW and making big waves in their homeland due to their stylish Europhile blend of synth-pop, chill wave and dream pop.
