部分筆記內容如下：
1.scribble：v.匆匆地寫；亂塗亂畫 n.亂寫；塗鴉
作為動詞
（1）to write or draw something quickly or carelessly匆匆地寫；亂塗亂畫
例句：The baby's just scribbled all over my new dictionary!這個孩子剛才在我的新詞典上亂塗亂畫！
例句： I'll just scribble Dad a note/scribble a note to Dad to say we're going out.我要寫張留言條給爸爸，告訴他我們出去了。
作為名詞
（1）a careless piece of writing or drawing亂寫；塗鴉
例句：What are all these scribbles doing on the wallpaper?牆紙上這些亂塗的東西是什麼？
例句：I hope you can read my scribble!我希望你能看懂我的潦草字跡！
2.stay up：熬夜，深夜不睡；（足球）俱樂部依然留在原來的聯賽級別而沒有被降級
（1）to go to bed later than usual熬夜，深夜不睡
例句：We stayed up (late) to watch a film.我們熬夜看了部電影。
（2）If a football team stays up, it remains in a division and is not relegated (= moved down to a lower division)（足球）俱樂部依然留在原來的聯賽級別而沒有被降級
例句：I think all the newly-promoted clubs have a great chance of staying up this season.我認為，所有新進升級的球隊這個賽季都有很大機會不被降級。
3.flag on the play：這是美式橄欖球裁判使用的一個判罰標識：這裡的flag不是旗幟，而是一種黃色手巾。play=橄欖球比賽。在美式足球（橄欖球）比賽中，如果裁判發現一方有犯規違例，會在口袋裡掏出一塊橘黃色的方巾丟在地上，然後宣布誰犯規了。也暗指形勢要偏轉，剛才的決定可能要撤回。後被用來指代「終止」、「犯規」等意思。
