⊙怎麼用英語表達打瞌睡？⊙
1. get some shut-eye小睡片刻
看字面意思就會知道是「閉目養神」的意思，在口語用法中可以直接說 get some shut-eye 表示「小睡片刻」。
A: Hey, you look exhausted! Why don’t you get some shut-eye? A: 嘿，你看起來好累哦！要不要先小睡一下啊？ B: Ah, I’m afraid I』ll sleep until the morning if I do. I think I should just grab a coffee and finish my job here. B: 但我怕我會一覺到天亮，我還是喝個咖啡繼續做完工作好了。
2.catch some Z’s睡覺、小睡片刻
這個表達十分地形象，因為說到「睡覺」，就會想到好幾個 Z 在頭上飄來飄去，所以也可以用 catch come Z’s 來表示小睡一下，也可以指較長時間的睡眠。另外，動詞 catch 也可以改成 grab 哦！

take forty winks 形容在還沒進入深層睡眠時，眼皮快速眨動的樣子，因此也可以拿來當白天的短暫小睡。
If I have karaoke night or other night activities with my friends, I』ll take forty winks during the day. 如果我要和朋友去夜唱或有其他夜間活動，我都會在白天先小睡一下。
4. nod off / doze off打瞌睡
在上課時邊點頭邊打瞌睡的「跑神」就可以用這兩個字 nod off / doze off來表達：

5. take a cat nap打盹、小睡
養過貓咪的朋友肯定都知道它們很能睡，一天可以睡上 12-16個小時！幾乎整天都在睡覺的貓咪就可以和「打瞌睡」聯繫在一起。除了最常見的 take a nap 之外，打盹或是小睡可以用 take a cat nap。
A: You are always taking a cat nap! What did you do at night? A: 你永遠都在打盹耶！你晚上都在做什麼啊？ B: Nothing, just being a night owl. B: 沒做什麼啊，就當夜貓子。6. take a snooze打盹
snooze 就是小睡或打瞌睡的意思。如果你也是拿 iPhone 手機用戶，就會發現鬧鐘有一個「稍後提醒」功能，英文就是 snooze，也有人翻成貪睡鬧鐘，是不是很形象呢。做個補充，「You snooze, you lose」是常見的諺語，字面意思是你打盹就輸了，引申為「一不注意就會錯失良機」。
