        傑森·瑪耶茲（Jason Mraz），1977年6月23日出生於美國維吉尼亞州列治文，美國創作歌手。《lucky》這首歌是收錄於Jason Mraz在2008年5月發行的專輯【We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things】，是首由 Colbie Caillat 與 Jason Mraz 共同合唱的唯美，愉悅心靈的歌。

        音樂的一開始就用輕快的吉他單彈來開頭，讓人的耳朵一下子被喚醒，仿佛正在美麗的山林間聆聽小溪的歡歌。這個節奏一下子把人們的心情變得很好，很輕快。

        接下來順著吉他聲，一個富有磁性的愉快的男聲響起，只伴著琴聲不加任何的修飾，讓Jason Mraz的聲音顯得恰到好處，讓耳朵的世界一下子寬闊起來，當時第一次聽到的時候一下子覺得，真正的好音樂是不需要修飾的。

        在經過片刻小小的停頓後，一個美麗的女聲響起，還是同樣只伴隨著琴聲輕快地歌唱著，仿佛小溪叮叮咚咚地歌唱。這個女聲讓沉浸音樂的人都會感到一陣純淨的微風，緩緩地拂過臉龐，這也正是Colbie Caillat音質的特點，總是能給人一種很舒服的感覺。

        接著伴隨女聲的節奏，架子鼓和樂隊開始響起，仿佛小溪終於穿過森林，來到了一個令人心靈神往的美麗的世界，緊接著就開始副歌部分。

        「I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend…」副歌開始的那一瞬間，一下子讓人感覺仿佛聽到了世界上最美的聲音，男女聲的相互搭配，真假音的自由轉換，一切都是那麼恰到好處，美輪美奐。副歌的結束部分，是用「Ooohh」一個音來詮釋的，雖然簡單但被他們的和聲變為了極美的享受，真假音相互交替，真的是勝過了世界上所有的聲音….那種第一次聽到的感受至今難忘，一下子佔據心靈。

        《lucky》這首歌描述了一對知己變為戀人的美麗故事，伴隨著兩個天籟般的聲音讓這個故事變得那麼甜蜜，那麼美麗。整首歌都在一種愉快的情緒中開始，再在愉快的情緒中結束，直到給人無限的回味。
