Laura Story，出生於美國南卡羅來納州的斯帕坦堡，美國當代基督教音樂女歌手兼作曲家。
十六歲就開始創作音樂。在2004年的時候，她的專輯歌曲更始達到了頂峰，被美國的基督音樂電臺列入最熱門歌曲之一，並且也收錄了多家廣告曲目裡面。
Laura Story是一位以基督流行為主要風格的創作歌手，曾在一支基督搖滾樂隊Silers Bald擔任貝司手。她曾經多是以美式鄉村的風格以及基督福音風格來演唱歌曲。離開曾經的樂隊之後，選擇了自己寫歌曲自己創作，但風格主要以輕音樂和抒情的方向發展了。人們長說，Laura Story唱歌是帶你感受Christian的柔情, 圓潤的嗓音加舒緩而輕快的音樂節奏。讓人們繁重的心情瞬間變的舒緩輕鬆了許多。
2002年，離開樂隊之後，同年發布單曲《Indescribable》，2004年Chris Tomlin在自己專輯《Arriving》中收錄她的這首主打歌，Chris Tomlin這張專輯在熱門基督教歌曲排行榜到達第二的好成績並且被彙編入專輯《How Great Is Our Lord》，Avalon樂隊在《WOW Worship 2006》專輯中也錄製了這首歌。2005年Story發布了她的第二個獨立專輯《There is nothing》,由Ed Cash和Mitch Dane製作發行。同年她嫁給了Martin Elvington並搬至Georgia洲的Atlanta在Perimeter Church成為崇拜領袖同工。在2006年Laura Story與INO Record籤約兩年後發布了第三張專輯《Great God Who Saves》專輯由Ed Cash擔任製作人。
2010年，她被提名為第四十一屆聖鴿獎的年度最佳女歌手獎。2011年5月發行的第四張專輯《Blessings》是Story有史以來最成功的一張專輯，專輯裡的單曲成為了基督教歌曲排行榜第一，贏得2012年格萊美最佳當代福音音樂獎。2013年9月30日推出了自己的第五張專輯《God Of Every Story》。2017年3月3日Story推出了名為《Open Hands》的新專輯。
