Chinese Models Take Over Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Two years ago, the French commandeered China's hautest piece of couture, the Facekini, and now the Chinese are returning the favor by taking over one of their hautest fashion events. A record four Chinese super models ignited the catwalk at the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show at the Grand Palais in Paris, France yesterday.

The four stars  -- Liu Wen, He Sui, Xi Mengyao and Ju Xiaowen -- were enlisted to add some Asian flavor to a show that's historically been white, black and latino. Liu Wen, who was the first Asian to ever appear at the lingerie giant's French show in 2011, is returning after a three-year hiatus while her compatriots He Sui and Xi Mengyao are competing in their sixth and third consecutive shows respectively. The newbie of the group, Ju Xiaowen is making her debut this year. Here they are strutting their stuff.

The move is also likely part of Victoria's Secret's bid to woo the Chinese market as they gear up to open their flagship China store in Shanghai's Lippo Plaza by the end of the year. Here's hoping they'll overtake split-back pants as the number one brand of Lingerie on the mainland.
