大家還記得上次分享的《一家之主》露西遭男友分手的那一篇吧，我們說到「甩了某人」可以用dump這個單詞，即：
If you dump someone, you end your relationship with them.
那被人甩了之後呢？就有人露西究竟喜歡什麼類型的人了。

那他喜歡哪種菜呢？
這裡的「someone type」是指「某人的菜，或者是某人喜歡的類型」
What's your type？tall？handsome？kind？
你喜歡哪種類型的人，高的？帥的？人品好的？
She is my type.
說到這個又讓我想到了「one's cup of tea」不僅僅是字面意思「一杯茶」那麼簡單，它還有「某人喜歡的類型」，也就是指「某人的菜」。
You are not my cup of tea.
你不是我的菜。
I'm afraid you are not my type.
恐怕你不是我喜歡的類型。
場景一：
這裡Peggy和老公解釋，分手後經歷的長痛、短痛和取捨問題，這裡有一個很好的句式：

通常用來指相反或矛盾的兩個事物。Peggy還說了一句：

be out of your depth

你真是幫倒忙。
打開潘多拉魔盒，通常用來形容一件事情的發生促使了一連串其他事情的發生，通常是指一連串的麻煩事。
這個表達方式源於古希臘神話宙斯為了懲罰普羅米修斯盜天火而製造的第一個女性，其名潘多拉，她打開了眾神送的神秘小禮盒，釋放了憤恨、瘟疫等。

她這些話引來了一大堆麻煩。
