數學是學好科學類課程的基礎，學好數學，對於小夥伴們大學畢業後從事會計、銀行和金融、管理、環境科學、建築、工程和製造、醫療技術以及科學研究等工作也十分有益，是大學申請的熱門專業。

數學專業+牛劍的組合，成就了牛津和劍橋數學專業極其激烈的申請競爭！拿到牛劍offer絕非易事，因此當時間的齒輪轉到了11月末，最該著急的是拿到牛劍面試邀請的小夥伴們……
牛津&劍橋數學專業成績要求
牛津大學數學專業：
A-level：A*A*A，數學和進階數學成績A*（如果已經選修）（以下來自2017年至2019年平均數據）面試比例：38%成功申請比例：12%被錄取人數：182
劍橋大學數學專業：
A-Level:A * A * A + STEPIB：40-42分，HL成績776+ STEP2019年申錄比例：6:12019年入學總人數：253
總體而言，牛劍數學專業的學術要求比較高，只有A-level成績極其優異的小夥伴們才有機會進入面試環節！
牛劍數學面試前考試&面試考試
10月15日提交牛劍申請後，申請者會進入下一個環節——牛劍面試前考試和面試考試。
小夥伴們可能都知道，牛劍大部分學院都會要求學生參加入學考試，比如說申請牛劍醫學專業必須參加BMAT考試等。現在已經是11月末，牛劍大部分學院已經結束了2021申請季的入學考試。
在面試之前，劍橋大學還會組織面試前考試，面試前幾天或當天再組織面試考試（At-interview written assessments），部分劍橋學院會進行數學專業的面試考試，具體安排需要小夥伴們參考各學院要求。
需要特別注意的是，申請劍橋數學專業，申請者必須參加STEP考試，這是其學術成績要求，STEP成績必不可少。牛津大學並不將STEP考試當做其入學學術要求，但牛津鼓勵小夥伴們參加STEP考試。
牛劍數學面試
牛津大學每年通常會收到22,000份申請，提供大約3,300個入學名額，進行大約10,000次面試，每年11月中旬至12月初之間牛津會給面試者發送面試邀請函，在12月中下旬進行面試。劍橋大學面試通常在12月的前三個星期進行，部分面試有些可能在2021年1月上旬進行。在主要面試期過後的一月，可能會邀請少量面試者參加進一步面試。
由於新冠疫情的影響，今年牛劍部分地區面試會在線進行。收到面試邀請的小夥伴們要及時調整在線面試設備。
牛劍數學課程的學術要求比較高，面試也相當有難度。
牛劍面試題通常沒有確切答案，面試者重在評估面試者的面試過程。牛劍數學專業的面試題靈活性很高，既有對嚴謹的數學知識的考察，又有對學生整體數學能力的評估，因此對面試者的綜合能力要求也很高。
