This is our first barrel aged, sightly tropical version of a Boulevadier, which honoring its Boheme origins could only but bear a 1920s Parisian reference in its name. Our homemade pineapple and sweet cinnamon infusion balance and fruitens the herbal bitterness of Campari, and its strong kick will keep you warm all when midnight hits at Modernista!

We wanted for a long time to make a cocktail featuring some of our favorite Chinese flavours, and, after learning how to brew our own Suanmeitang from scratch, we decided that was the way to go. Our Rickshaw cocktail was born as a single malt sour combining the summery Beijing vibes of smoked sour plums, hawthorn, liquorice, and chrysanthemum with the warming touch of our homemade Pu'er tea bitters. It's an easy, lovely drink to have!

Frida Kahlo, soul parted in two, painted herself holding hands with herself. Sounds a bit extravagant, right? But so are all the geniuses in this world. We want to honor that genius by naming this cocktail after her famous painting, combining our mellow lemongrass infused tequila with sweet winter pear, and hitting the mix with a fresh, unexpected touch of homemade eucalyptus syrup. Mixed blossom bitters crown our Frida's head like early spring flowers. You never drank tequila like that!

Every winter we reserve a little spot to tropical dreaming in our menu. This year, that place is for Save The Elephants, a dark rum, passion fruit and banana short cocktail, creamy, sour-sweet and easy to drink. The name got stuck in our minds ever since friend and photographer Matjaz Tancic posted a feature about Animals Asia's project at Vietnam's Yok Don National Park last year. For all those planning South Asia escapades this winter!
