IZUMI Charlottenlund是丹麥哥本哈根一家餐廳的室內設計項目。IZUMI是一家連鎖餐廳，供應北歐風味的日本料理，在大哥本哈根都市區內有數家分店。為了打造新的品牌形象，PAN-PROJECTS與mok architects共同接受委託，塑造空間形象，表達餐廳概念。通過設計，團隊將IZUMI的品牌宣言「Nordic twisted Japanese」成功地轉化為具象的空間體驗。

日本和北歐的文化交流歷史悠久。特別是在設計領域，有很多源於日本的文化產物最終在北歐發展壯大。設計師正是從斯堪地那維亞半島和日本文化的交融中汲取靈感，打造出IZUMI品牌獨特的概念。

設計師採取策略，將日本空間設計手法融入斯堪地那維亞語境中，同時加入受日本影響的北歐元素，旨在創造一種日本-斯堪地那維亞設計的互動手法。弧形的木板包裹廚房區域，成為獨特的標誌，詮釋了IZUMI的品牌形象。模塊化的牆壁面板採用日本傳統木材尺度，像日式榻榻米一樣劃分空間。

另一方面，牆壁面板採用北歐常用的橡木材質，微微彎曲的面板從斯堪地那維亞的steam-bent家具中汲取靈感。這些設計的細節實現了北歐和日本文化的獨特融合，以空間為媒介講述了IZUMI的故事。設計師深入探索兩種文化，通過互動設計的手法，實現了斯堪地那維亞和日本兩種文化間恰到好處的融合。
