昨天我們課間放迪斯尼兒童動畫片索菲亞公主Sofia the First在第二季第五集過程中，索菲亞教沉默騎士巴特爾比Bartleby跳舞時，認為他擊劍的步伐移動與跳舞有相似之處，覺得一教他就會。幾個動作下來，騎士基本掌握了要領。他高興地說了這樣一句話：Ha, I think I’m getting the hang of this! 哈，我想我學到怎麼跳這舞的要領了！
其間，一小學生問此處han是個名詞吧，平日都是作動詞情況多。我真心覺得他是一個不錯的英語學習者，真是一個有心人。我們有必要說一下hang的名詞意義，便於我們更好地理解和運用。
簡而言之，hang 就是做某事的基本要領或技巧, 或「方法，竅門」之義，skill to do something。那麼get the hang of sth就相當明白了或認識到了如何去做某事，understand or realize how to do sth， to begin having a general sense of how to do or use.
非正式口語中，這個習語十分常用。再例：
1.I got the hang of skating.我學會了滑冰的技巧。
2.As soon as I get the hang of this computer, I』ll be able to work faster.一旦我弄懂了這臺電腦的使用，我工作起來就能更快了。
3.After a few months you start getting the hang of the language and expressing yourself quite well. 經過幾個月時間，你開始掌握了這門語言，並能十分自如地表達意思了。
4.You have to have some practical experience before you get the hang of managing this kind of office work. 在你了解管理這類辦公室工作的竅門之前，你必須積累一些實踐經驗。
