大賽宗旨
為了培養留學生的藝術修養，用鏡頭捕捉城市之美，在繁忙的學業之餘能夠以攝影的方式得以休憩，並培養興趣與愛好。
The event aims at
cultivating artistic skills and stimulating interests and hobbies of the international students, who, with the help of camera are to capture the city’s beauty and, in this way, find a moment to relax in those rare moments of leisure in their busy school life.
The requirements to participate in the completion were that the pictures submitted had to relate to light in some way or other. Contestants were encouraged to submit their work in relation to the words; morning, hope, light, exposure, shadows, night and a few others. The scope still felt a little broad so it had to be narrowed down to pictures in, around and within Shanghai.
