在背過colonial, colonize/colonise, colonist之後，我們終於迎來了系列的主角——colony.
單詞解析
colony，名詞，意思是：
殖民地，殖民地居民，具有共同愛好或工作的聚居人群，群體生物學專業名詞，（動物、昆蟲或植物的）群，群落；生物群印度英語中，指有籬笆或圍牆環繞的住宅區
其實殖民地的含義，結合其他相關單詞，大家應該可以記住，再加上之前介紹過，所以不再重複。想要加深印象的小夥伴，可以閱讀2015年考研英語一的Section2, Part C（翻譯部分），全文與移民、殖民有關。
