On September 15, 2020, the flight WB9500 of RwandAir from Kigali to Guangzhou was announced to be suspended for one week, as 5 passengers on the flight tested positive for the coronavirus. Subsequently, the flight WB9500 of September 20 (Sunday) will be canceled.The Announcement Issued by the Embassy of the PRC in the Republic of Rwanda
Per the announcement, the embassy reminded passengers who have purchased tickets for the flight on September 20 to contact the booking office or RwandAir to change their ticket reservation ASAP and make a new appointment for nucleic acid testing. Since Sept. 1st, all passengers on flights to China must apply for a Health Declaration Form with a negative nucleic acid test certificate issued within 3 days before boarding.
