COVID-19 shook almost all industries on different scales. Fortunately, power semiconductor industry is rather resistant in the pandemic, managed to recover and revive during the last two quarters of 2020. To further address how power semiconductor market could keeping growing, ijiwei spoke with Dr. Peter Friedrichs, the Vice President SiC at Infineon. Dr. Friedrichs』 focus area of expertise was the physics of the MOS interface in SiC power MOSFETs. He holds numerous patents in the field of SiC power devices and technology and is an author or co/author of more than 50 scientific papers and conference contributions.
