Last - 持續
後面可以加模糊或具體的持續時間。
The pollen might last two months.
花粉可能會持續兩個月。
The pollution has lasted a week.
汙染已經持續一周了。
Allergies - 過敏 形容詞allergic
也常常用"be allergic to..."表示「對...過敏」。
I have a peanut allergy.
I'm allergic to peanuts.
我對花生過敏。（在西方特別是美國比較常見）
(Something) is killing me! - （某事物）要了我的命了！
People often exaggerate and say that something is "killing" them when they are uncomfortable. For example:
人們感覺不舒服的時候常常會誇張一點說某事物在「殺死」他們。比如：
This heat is killing me!
我快熱死了！
My boss is killing me!
我老闆真要了親命了！
OMG, these shoes are killing me!
天哪，這雙鞋難受死我了！
