Andrea Migliano
Lecturer in Evolutionary Anthropology at the University College London. Her Hunter-gatherers Resilience project studies hunter gatherers in Congo and The Philippines using behavioural economics, life history theory, theories of cooperation, cultural transmission and genetics to explore how variation in life history traits, kin selection, mate systems, cooperative behaviour (cooperative breeding, cooperative hunting, food sharing, among others), differentially contribute to hunter-gatherer past, present and future resilience.
Sheng-Feng Shen
Associate Research Fellow at Biodiversity Research Center of Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He combines field observation with mathematical modelling to study social evolution in birds, insects, and other species exhibiting cooperative bahviours.
Ting Ji
Associate Professor at the Key Lab of Animal Ecology and Conservational Biology, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She studies the behvaioural ecology (e.g. kinship, dispersal, cooperation) of the matrilineal Mosuo population at Lugu lake, China and the evolution of kinship among Sino-Tibetan groups.
Xiaoguang Qi
Professor at Northwest University, Shaanxi, China. Member of UCN SSC Primate Specialist Group. He studies the structure and maintenance of social organisation, mating and reproductive strategiesm, social networks and spatial allocation of snub-nosed monkeys at the Qingling Mountains in China.
Bo Du
Associate Professor at Lanzhou University. He studies life history strategies, interindividual relationship, and the evolution of social behaviours in avian and insect populations, as well as their adaptation to high altitude environment.
