谷歌瀏覽器Google Chrome穩定版迎來v69正式版首個版本發布，詳細版本號為v69.0.3497.81，上一個正式版v68.0.3440.106發布於8月9日，時隔27天Google又發布了新版Chrome瀏覽器，本次升級主要是更新了40項安全修復和穩定性改進及用戶體驗。

谷歌瀏覽器v69正式版不再顯示協議名稱（比如HTTP://），地址欄開始採用全新Material Design風格，如果不喜歡新版樣式可以通過訪問「chrome://flags/#top-chrome-md」設置選項，然後選擇「normal」選擇原來的樣式即可。

谷歌瀏覽器v68正式版新增了一項重大的變化，當加載非HTTPS網站時，該瀏覽器的處理方式會更加審慎。所有HTTP頁面將會顯示為「不安全」，對於依然採用HTTP的網站，谷歌將提供設置指南幫助其過渡到HTTPS。只要遇到潛在不安全的站點，Chrome都將開始拋出警告信息。雖然不會對日常使用造成太大的影響，但這確實是迄今為止發生的一個重大轉變。新增全新惡意廣告防禦機制、tab-under 行為攔截功能，支持 Payment Handler API、Page Lifecycle API。
