Security and safety are a big parts of everyone's lives, and so it should come as no surprise that there are many everyday expressions that make use of these words. 「Security」 and 「safety」（安全）是每個人生活中的很大一部分，所以很多日常表達中會有這兩個詞。Since the two ideas are very closely related, it's not always easy to remember what kinds of things use security, and what uses safety. One way that might help you remember which words are which is that security is often used at large organizations such as corporations or governments . Safety, on the other hand, often refers to personal safety, and so a lot of the clothes and other accessories that we wear to protect us from danger use this word.
