Debian GNU/Hurd 團隊宣布發布 Debian GNU/Hurd 2015。GNU/Hurd 是自由軟體基金會開發的基於 GNU Mach 的自由內核，至今已開發二十多年，Debian GNU/Hurd 項目目標是將 Debian GNU/Linux 的軟體包移植運行在 GNU/Hurd 內核上。
Debian GNU/Hurd 2015 發布，這是最新發布的 Debian "sid" 快照，並不是 Debian 官方發布的，但是是官方的 Debian GNU/Hurd 移植版本。

Debian GNU/Hurd 通常提供三個 Debian 風情版本：NETINST, CD 和 DVD。同時還提供了一個預裝的硬碟鏡像：https://www.debian.org/ports/hurd/hurd-install。
Debian GNU/Hurd 當前支持 i386 架構，包括超過 80% 的 Debian 包。
自從上個快照 "wheezy" 之後，初始化系統就換成了 sysvinit。
其他改進包括：
* The core GNU Hurd and GNU Mach packages were updated to versions 0.6 and
1.5, respectively.
* The networking drivers were migrated to user-space drivers using the NetDDE
framework and a Linux-2.6.32 codebase.
值得更新的包包括：Iceweasel 31 ESR, XFCE4 4.10, X.org 7.7 和 Emacs 24.4。
