For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essaycommenting on the saying 「Help others, and you will be helped when you are inneed.」 You can cite examples to illustrate your views. You should write atleast 150 words but no more than 200 words.
What I conclude from the thought-provoking quotation is that helpingothers has a dual benefit. Not only does it provide support to those on thereceiving end, it makes you, the helper, accomplish something new.
I recall a story I read from a fable book, as it could be a suitableexemplification. It illustrates a story that some people asked a warm-heartedboy to take them from one side of the river to the other by boat. The boy tookthem into the boat, and helped them get to the other side. Finally, not onlythe group of people receiving a helping hand, but also the boy felt exceedinglysatisfied. The story, simply conceived yet profoundly meaningful, tries tooffer an eye-opening realization of how worthwhile and beneficial helpingothers actually is.
When I was a senior college student, I met one math teacher whotaught me something that still sticks with me today 「When you lend your hand tosomeone else, not only are you happy, but that feeling lasts long. Just likesending roses to other and leaving fragrance in the palm of your hand.」 Peoplemay forget what you said or what you did, but they will never forgetanddefinitely repay the generosity of you.
