2018年5月29日，由太陽馬戲、上海對外文化交流有限公司主辦的《阿凡達前傳：託魯克-首次翱翔》（TORUK - The First Flight）2018年巡演北京站、上海站新聞發布會在北京成功舉辦。這部由全球最大的現場娛樂演出製作公司——加拿大國寶級劇團「太陽馬戲」與詹姆斯·卡梅隆導演共同聯手打造的史詩級舞臺作品，將於2018年8月震撼登陸北京、上海兩地。據悉，發布會當天下午主辦方同時啟動了北京、上海兩站的售票，《阿凡達前傳》將成為今年暑期檔京滬兩地觀劇不二之選。
前所未有的沉浸式多媒體舞臺體驗！
太陽馬戲《阿凡達前傳：託魯克-首次翱翔》（TORUK - The First Flight）將詹姆斯·卡梅隆的《阿凡達》搬上大舞臺，為觀眾帶來前所未有的沉浸式多媒體奇觀。當曾經出現在大屏幕的奇幻場景走進現實，觀眾心中「潘多拉星球」的回憶將一一浮現。
太陽馬戲《阿凡達前傳》將《阿凡達》與太陽馬戲標誌性的風格融為一體，由虛擬空間大師——導演米歇爾·勒米尤和多媒體創新者維克特·皮隆創造，他們將舞臺布景變成了一個巨大的屏幕，視頻投影有時會超出舞臺範圍直接投射到觀眾區，讓觀眾覺得他們不僅僅是在「觀看」潘多拉星球，而是真正置身於「潘多拉星球」。他們將電影語言應用於舞臺藝術，讓大場面的壯麗奇觀與細膩的溫情場面交替出現，喚起觀眾的情感共鳴。360度超大型中央舞臺，總共40臺視頻投影機，總面積尺寸達到標準IMAX屏幕的五倍以上。在現場模擬出驚險的地震和火山爆發、星球內部巖漿滾滾湧出、漫天繁星從天而降等效果，讓觀眾身臨其境地感受外星球的奇幻魅力，重返詹姆斯·卡梅隆的阿凡達世界！
納美人來了！
《阿凡達前傳：託魯克-首次翱翔》（TORUK - The First Flight）的故事比電影《阿凡達》還要3千年，當時人類還未登陸潘多拉星，所以我們稱它為《阿凡達前傳》。潘多拉星上有一顆靈魂之樹，它是所有族人的生命之源。這棵形似柳樹的巨樹對於潘多拉星而言具有重大的精神意義，然而它卻正在面臨著威脅.為了拯救靈魂之樹，三個納美少年踏上了阻礙重重的冒險之旅。
新聞發布會現場，兩位納美人驚喜亮相，他們全程使用納美語向中國觀眾問好，傳神而富有表現力的表演，將發布會的現場氣氛推向高潮。據介紹，在整個演出過程中，演員們將力求迴避人類生物力學規則，有意識地像納美人那樣行動。考慮到潘多拉星的重力比地球小，細心的創意團隊特別在演出場地內安裝了具有彈性的地板材料。使演員們在進行跳躍、跌落、上下翻轉、空翻等動作時，可以藉此產生彈跳衝力，呈現納美人的力量和敏捷。
為了呈現100%逼真的納美人，服裝設計師們為演出服裝設計了25種不同的藍色。設計師們還選用了4種不同的藍色膚色，來詮釋納美人不同的DNA。服裝上的藍色與演員們精心勾勒的藍色妝容完美相融，將納美人的特徵刻畫地活靈活現。無論是正式演出，還是來參加新聞發布會，每位「納美人」都要花費至少2個小時提前準備。據主辦方透露，今年夏天，納美人還將有機會走進北京和上海的大街小巷，如果你偶遇了納美人，千萬不要驚慌，那是《阿凡達前傳：託魯克-首次翱翔》（TORUK - The First Flight）真的來了！

Beijing, May 29, 2018 –Inspired by James Cameron’s record-breaking movie AVATAR, Cirque du Soleil’s touring show TORUK – The First Flightwill be presented at Cadillac Arena, Beijing from August 1 to 12, 2018 and Mercedes-Benz Arena, Shanghai, from August 16 to 26, 2018, as part of a global tour in arenas around the world.

Inspired by James Cameron’s AVATAR, TORUK – The First Flighttransports you to the world of Pandora in a visually stunning live setting. Experience a storytelling odyssey through a new world of imagination, discovery, and possibility.
Through a riveting fusion of cutting-edge visuals, puppetry and stagecraft buoyed by a soaring cinematic score, Cirque du Soleil applies its unique signature style to James Cameron’s imaginary world and 「makes the bond」 between two kindred artistic visions that capture the imagination.
This live immersive experience also bears the distinct signature of directors and multimedia innovators Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon. It is a living ode to the Na』vi’s symbiotic coexistence with nature and their belief in the basic interconnectedness of all living things.
Narrated by a 「Na』vi Storyteller」 and populated by unforgettable characters, TORUK – The First Flightis a mythical tale set thousands of years before the events depicted in the film AVATAR, and before any humans ever set foot on Pandora.
When a natural catastrophe threatens to destroy the sacred Tree of Souls, Ralu and Entu, two Omatikaya boys on the brink of adulthood, fearlessly decide to take matters into their own hands. Upon learning that Toruk can help them save the Tree of Souls, they set out, together with their newfound
friend Tsyal, on a quest high up in the Floating Mountains to find the mighty red and orange predator that rules the Pandoran sky. Prophecy is fulfilled when a pure soul rises among the clans to ride Toruk for the first time and save the Na』vi from a terrible fate.
