這樣一條簡單的規定，將徹底把盜號盜分的生意給掐死。大家也許不知道盜號用分都是在距離客人入住前不久才會去兌換，因為換太早了勢必會讓人發現預訂郵件。
所以針對嚴重的盜號問題IHG才出此下策，要求提前7天致電為他人積分換房。7天的時間如果你還懶得看你的郵件無法發現帳號被盜，IHG也幫不了你啊。
至於1月1日之後系統會如何改？筆者猜測會將網頁上添加同住人的功能徹底取消，如果想為他人兌換，只能打電話添加同住人，這樣添加上的同住相當於有了客服背書。其實對於正常使用積分的用戶來說是一項利好，本來現在被黑分玩的很多酒店都不接受同住人積分入住了（比如香港大洲際），新規之後我猜這些酒店就不會再刁難同住人入住了。唯一帶來的不便就是要提前一周。
同時在更早的時候，IHG把自己的積分房取消政策也給改了。在入住前一天取消還和以前一樣積分秒退回，如果你在入住當天下午6點前取消預訂積分則要48小時之後才會退回。這主要是因為以前有部分人品不斷的會員，在辦理好入住之後隨手取消訂單，酒店並不能及時發現，等財務部考核的時候才發現居然被人把分給撤走了。所以IHG不得已才改變了積分房取消的規則。所以如果你入住當日取消請耐心等待積分返還。
