Boy's hair is completely FROZEN after he walked an hour to school on a harsh winter morning in rural China

A Chinese schoolboy's fate has caught the attention of millions of people after a picture of his icicle hair became widely shared online.
近日，一名中國學生的照片在網上廣為流傳，引起了數百萬人的關注。
The child, from rural China, had just spent more than an hour walking 4.5 kilometres (2.8 miles) to school on a harsh winter morning, according to reports.
據報導，這名來自中國農村的孩子，在一個嚴冬的早晨，花一個多小時步行4.5公裡(2.8英裡)去上學。
Wearing a thin layer of clothes, the boy braved minus nine degree weather to sit an exam yesterday in a small town in Shaotong, southern China's Yunnan Province.
昨天，這名男孩穿著單薄的衣服，冒著零下9度的嚴寒天氣參加了在中國南部雲南省紹通市的一個小鎮舉行的考試。
Both of his parents are seeking employment in bigger cities, leaving him to live in the rural area with his siblings and grandparents.
他的父母都在大城市打工，而他和他的兄弟姐妹以及爺爺奶奶則留在農村。
Headmaster Fu said the school's final examinations started yesterday, but the temperature plunged to minus nine degrees suddenly in the morning. As a result, the boy's hair and eyebrows were completely covered by frost when he arrived.
傅校長說，學校的期末考試是昨天開始的，但是早上氣溫驟降到零下9度。結果，男孩的頭髮和眉毛在他到達時完全被霜覆蓋了。
Apparently when the boy's 16 classmates saw him entering the classroom, they giggled at his funny looks.
很顯然的，當男孩頂著炫酷的冰箱頭髮走進教室時，班上其他16個同學都咯咯地笑起來。
The boy didn't seem to be bothered by the adverse weather either.
不過這個男孩似乎沒有受到惡劣天氣的困擾。
'The child is cute. He pulled a funny face to his classmates,' Headmaster Fu said.

According to the headmaster, the boy is a hard-working pupil with a particular gift in mathematics.

Blimey I drove my 9 year old son to school this morning. 1.5 miles as it was freezing here and raining. Think I¿ll show him this at 3:30. Not that I would allow him to walk at 9 But just so he knows how lucky he is being a child in the UK with a car and a heated class room.

I just can't imagine this little boy's life. Thin coat, no hat, gloves, heat. He's so brave and it's a testament to the human spirit that he's suffering just so he can get an education. We should all feel lucky.

My dad used to walk 4 miles to school from age 6, come rain or shine. It likely wasn¿t -9, but still very cold. This boy clearly values his education and won¿t grow up as entitled as our snoflskes. Wish they¿d give him something for his hands though, they look so sore.
