Wangfujing, one of the busiest business areasin Beijing, is home to numerous are traditional snack shops such as Daoxiangcun, a time-honored Beijing chain. Recent visitors to Jin Jie, a streetnear Wangfujing, were surprised to find eight Daoxiangcun shops.
王府井大街是北京城有名的旅遊景點，王府井大街兩側特產小吃店林林總總，毗鄰王府井的金街上，就有8個打著「稻香村」招牌的店鋪。
Beijing Youth Daily reporters went to the shops, which were marked with red boards and white characters. Each had a sales representative standing outside and shouting to attract customers. When asked if the snacks were traditional Beijing products, the sales person only replied that Daoxiangcun is a time-honored shop.
記者沿王府井大街走訪時，但見紅底白字招牌的「稻香村」門店「叫賣」最為火爆。每家門店門外均有一位導購在招徠客人，每當有顧客問及這裡是否是傳統的北京稻香村時，這裡的銷售人員則籠統地回答稱：「我們這是百年老店。」
Packing labels showed the snack were produced in Tongzhou by a Daoxiangcun company registered in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. Yang Guoyin, brand manager, and Liu Zhiyong, general manager of Suzhou Daoxiangcun, both said they were unaware of the shops.
待細看包裝上的標識，這些糕點是由蘇州稻香村食品有限公司出品，產地在北京通州。對於蘇州稻香村在王府井商業街布局的具體情況，北青報記者近日多次撥打蘇稻副總經理楊國印和品牌部負責人劉志勇的電話，但均被掛斷，最終得到楊國印的回答是「不清楚市場銷售布局的情況」。
A company spokesperson who answered the Suzhou Daoxiangcun hotline said the shops on Wangfujing are all distributors of Suzhou Daoxiangcun.
The first floor of Danyao Plaza has a Beijing Daoxiangcun shop that sells traditional Jingbajian, a set of eight traditional Beijing pastries wrapped in a box. The salesperson said the snackswere produced by Beijing Daoxiangcun.
記者注意到，在王府井丹耀大廈一層也有一家名為「京稻」的專賣店，同樣出售京八件禮盒、各式散裝糕點、果脯、烤鴨等特產。當北青報記者詢問該店導購人員這裡的糕點到底是什麼品牌時，對方竟然回答說：「這就是北京稻香村。」
However, the label showed that the snacks were produced by Beijing Baiweiqi Food Manufactory, a bakery operated byBeijing Xunxiang Daohe Company in Miyun District. The company also has foodoutlets in the cities of Tianjin, Langfang and Zhangjiakou.
然而，標籤卻顯示一份「京稻」糕點禮盒外包裝上字樣顯示為北京村香稻禾商貿有限公司授權北京佰味奇食品廠製造，地址位於密雲河南寨鎮提轄莊村。
The traditional Beijing Daoxiangcun belongs to Beijing Lianxiangyuan Food Company. Its only outlet sales outlet on Wangfujing is located on the first basement of Wangfujing Department Store.
經過記者一番尋找，終於打聽到整條王府井大街上真正的北京稻香村糕點實際上「隱藏」在百貨大樓地下一層。但與大街上各家稻香村門店內的人頭攢動形成鮮明反差的是，北稻的這一專櫃門可羅雀。
