疫情期間，美國著名歌手查理普斯(Charlie Puth，以下簡稱CP)推出全新單曲Girlfriend，用一種異常幽默的方式呈現了宅男式的約會過程。旋律輕快、用詞簡單，MV點擊率已破百萬。

「Myfriend had passed away in 2012, and I never forget the moment when I found out that he was no longer living. I texted his phone, I was like see you soon. How about see you again. I think I had spent 30 mins like a hundred people, all executives walking into the room like, 「Who is this kid, you just crack the code for the end of this really important scene for Fast and Furious 7」. 從「only a matter of minutes」和「in 10 minutes」已經可以看出，CP創作這首紅遍世界的歌曲只花了不到十分鐘，所以主持人認為【沒人像他那麼厲害】、【如此輕易地創作成名】。

「She taught me how to play piano while I was four years old. My mom always told me that I would be walking around be like 「mom, the wind’s blowing, and I’m shocked.」 Oh Great, my son’s weird. But apparently, I was had it, but it became very apparent to me when I was like around 8 years old, I realized I could listen to a Carpenter’s record, such a beautiful melody, but I can listen to it and play it on the piano.」 Puth is classically trained, but he first gained internet fame by performing covers on YouTube, like Sia’s 「Chandelier」. Now recognition follows wherever he goes. Today, he fits in fan meeting greets, in between sound tracks. Charlie has plenty of hits to his name from 「Marvin Gaye」 to 「One Call Away」. But he says he’s still driven to put on a one-of-the-kind show for these fans.
