Birds are a mysterious species, which makes them one of the hardest to photograph.The Bird Photographer of the Year competition was initiated in 2015, and reportedly received a flood of entries this year. Photographers around the world have made great efforts to capture the quiet, gentle beauty of birds and recently the British Trust for Ornithology（BTO）have announced their winners for 2017.
鳥類是一種神秘的物種，這使它們成為最難拍攝的物種之一。「年度鳥類攝影師」大賽是在2015年發起的，據報導，今年大賽收到了大量的參賽作品。世界各地的攝影師們都在努力捕捉鳥類的靜謐之美，最近英國鳥類信託基金會（BTO）公布了2017年度的獲獎者名單。
According to BTO Chief Executive Andy Clements, its aim is 「to celebrate the artistry of bird photography and aid conservation by supporting the valuable work carried out by the BTO.」 A cash prize of £5,000 is awarded to the top entry, with smaller amounts of cash and photographic equipment being doled out to the others.
據BTO執行長安迪·克萊門茨介紹，鳥類攝影大賽的目的是「通過支持BTO開展的有價值的工作來慶祝鳥類攝影藝術以及幫助保護鳥類」。大賽的冠軍將會獲得5000英鎊（約合人民幣4萬元）的現金獎勵，其他獲獎者將會獲得少量的現金和攝影器材。
So who is this year's victor? Alejandro Prieto Rojas, from Mexico, won the title by submitting a stunning portrait of flamingo feeding their young, which was colorful and vivid.
