「院長妹妹」❤️
Anastasija Puzankova, from Latvia, has served as the head of a nursing home in Qingpu District since last year. Her caring nature and attentiveness towards the elderly in the nursing home has made her very popular and they affectionately call her 『Head Sister』.
16年前
阿娜莎來到中國
2014年從復旦大學畢業後
就一直留在上海工作
學習工作之餘
小姐姐熱心慈善志願活動
也正因此
兩年多前
一次偶然的機會
她受邀當上這家養護院的院長
「我喜歡挑戰
我覺得有一個新的學習機會挺好的」
Anastasija, who is 35 now, came to Shanghai 16 years ago to study Chinese at Fudan University. Then she went on to study law. After obtaining her law degree, she stayed in Shanghai to pursue her career.
By 2018, Anastasija had done a lot of volunteering work for various charities. This experience led to her being offered the role of heading up a nursing home. She decided to accept the offer, "I love challenges, and for me, it's good to have the opportunity to learn something new."

院裡的200多位老人中
有42位已是九十高齡
還有不少老人👴
沒有自理能力
這些老人就像孩子
需要「外國院長妹妹」👩
和她的同事👩👨
用心照顧 不斷鼓勵❤️
為了豐富老人的日常生活
阿娜莎在養護院開出不少課程
玩健身球 學垃圾分類
辦生日派對🎂
甚至還在疫情期間
帶著身體硬朗的老人一起
在院子裡種上蔬菜🌶🌽🍠
「他們平時會說的
這個季節可以種什麼
比如我原來不知道也沒吃過芋艿
但老人喜歡吃
就種上了」
In this nursing home in Qingpu District, there are more than 200 seniors, with 42 of them over 90 years old. Anastasija talks to all of them, listens to them attentively and helps solve whatever problems they have.
Anastasija came up with innovative ideas to brighten up the elderly’s day such as planting their own vegetables, playing ball games, garbage sorting and holding birthday parties.
She started to plant seasonal vegetables and fruits with the seniors during the pandemic. Not only so that they could enjoy the fruits of their labor, but also, have a meaningful way to past the time since the seniors were unable to see their families due the epidemic prevention measures. "They』d tell me which kind of plant was seasonal and good for planting. I didn’t have much knowledge about it and hadn’t even tried taro before. But the seniors love it, so I planted it for them."

在和老人的相知相處中
阿娜莎感受到人生價值的實現
她決定紮根上海
為更多老人享受到養老服務
儘自己的一份心力
「She's so kind. I trust her.」
Praise and support from the elderly make Anastasija realize that what she’s doing is very meaningful. She's decided to stay in Shanghai to help more elderly in need, and enjoy her life in a fulfilling way in the city she loves.
