Returning lost money, as an important moral virtue in today's harmonious society, was recently performed by PAPPU VASKAR SEN (Sun Sika for Chinese name), a Bangladeshi international student of the School of International Education.
On the afternoon of October 14, 2020, Vaskar picked up a wallet on his way to class. At that time, all his thought was to hand in the wallet to the owner as soon as possible. He waited for nearly half an hour but the owner didn’t show up. With the ticking of time, he must go back to school. In this case, he opened up the wallet and found some cash, ID card and bank cards. No direct contact information. Then Vaskar turned to the teachers of School of International Education for help and the owner was found quickly. After meeting with Vaskar Sen, the owner was very surprised and thanked Vaskar again and again.
Vaskar is the concrete embodiment of traditional Chinese virtue of returning one's fortune and this shining tradition and virtue will help create a better society.
Let us thumb up for Vaskar and practice this good deed.
