Kirill Bakanov
"My name is Kirill. I have a science degree in ecology and geochemistry. Five years ago, after a severe storm which hammered my city, killing two people, I started to be interested in meteorology and severe weather."
"I realized that to get more complete information on meteorology it was necessary to interact with scientists and amateurs from all over the world. That's how I discovered Twitter. When I started browsing Twitter, I saw that there is very little news on natural disasters from Russia, or it comes with a big delay. In 2018 I decided to share news from Russia with foreign readers."
Let it go~ let it go~~)
"Most of the photos and videos I find on Vkontakte (most popular social media in Russia), Instagram and Facebook. I use keywords to search for news. For example, смерч (tornado), ураган (severe wind) etc. I also monitor the situation on volcanoes and thunderstorm activity. Approximately 5 percent of the content I do myself."
「我在Vkontakte(俄羅斯最受歡迎的社交媒體),Instagram和Facebook上找到大多數照片和視頻。
General Winter/General Snow
To fight the cold you must keep yourself warm, especially if you come from a country where people are not accustomed to negative temperatures. If it is freezing outside, consider wearing several layers: A T-shirt, shirt, sweater, and finally a winter jacket. Thermal underwear is always a good idea! Do not forget a hat, scarf, and gloves (or mittens – they are even warmer).
Rossalink,
Rassolnik is an old traditional Russian soup, which history dates back to the 15th century. It has sour-salty taste and is made from pickled cucumbers and barley. Most often it comes with pieces of meat and potatoes but, as almost all Russian soups, fish and vegetarian variants are possible. One portion of this soup will instantly warm up your body. Rassolnik has one more advantage – it’s just a perfect hangover treatment!
Almost every country has its own kind of dumplings. Pelmeni is the Russian version of this worldwide known dish, most often filled with meat, wrapped in thin dough. But there are 100+ ways of preparing and serving Pelmeni, depending on the part of Russia you’re in and personal preferences. You can find them also with fish or mushrooms, boiled, fried or served in a soup. The most solid and interesting traditions of cooking and eating dumplings are in Siberia because for locals living in the harsh cold climate, dumplings are actually the perfect dish – they are easy to prepare and can be stored frozen.

Russians joke that their national drink is not vodka at all, but tea. They drink it at any time of day and for any reason. Incidentally, tea warms you up better than any alcohol. Black and green tea is by far the most popular drink in the country, consumed by most of Russians on a daily basis.
