Fitting is the most crucial factor when selecting a school. Being a student who studies in a small private high school, I desire schools with low student-faculty ratios. Luckily, WFU is a school like that, and it also is reachable. ENV science is what my family had committed to, and I am more than happy to continue it; moreover, it is also a subject that I'm good at and interested in.
選擇學校時最重要的因素是是否合適。作為一名就讀於小型私立高中的學生，我希望未來可以就讀於學生與教師的比例相對較低的大學。幸運的是，維克森林大學就是這樣一所學校，而且它也是我可以觸及的一所學校。專業的選擇上，環境科學是我的家人一直致力於的事業，我也很樂意繼續下去，同時它也是我所擅長和感興趣的一門學科。
I'm a leader in multiple roles. They turn me into a responsible individual as well as a role model of my high school. I believe it is the strong sense of leadership that make WFU select me over the other applicants.

My GPA only became outstanding in my junior year and senior year. When you desire to have good grades and work hard for it, your goal is achievable.

iGEM silver award. I chose it because I thought I was interested in biology, but things change. I also did two independent pieces of env science researches in the summer of my junior year. One is a lab about the movement of microalgae; the other is a review paper about the Anaerobic Digestion Process of Activated Sludge. Both are deeply related to my focus: water pollution. It is essential to commit to studies about your favorite subject and topic.

Essays should focus on your core projects/ achievements. Once you have the focus, you shouldn't change the topic at all. Make sure to have the points all set at first.
