第十八屆亞洲反病毒研究者協會（AVAR）2015年度峰會於12月4日在越南峴港舉行，微步在線（Threatbook）通過投票選舉，正式成為AVAR的成員單位。
AVAR (Association of anti Virus AsiaResearchers)成立於1998年6月，是一個獨立的，非盈利的，定位於亞太地區的組織。其任務是預防由於惡意軟體導致的破壞以及流行， 同時在亞洲地區加強反病毒研究專家之間的交流與合作。 AVAR由來自於世界各地的知名專家組成，包括: 澳大利亞，中國，中國香港，印度，日本，韓國，菲律賓，新加坡，中國臺灣，英國以及美國。它的獨立性使其在全球範圍內的對抗計算機病毒方面起到了重要作用，同時也幫助用戶增強了計算機安全意識。
此次大會網羅了來自全球的安全專家，包括：微步在線、騰訊、360、百度、微軟、金山、瑞星、華為、SKD、賽門鐵克、AVG、ESET等。他們的演講課題包括《保護我們未來的安全》、《全球威脅分析-聚焦亞洲》和《安卓-陰謀和勾結》等。
