千算Poker：Do you mind start with a short background introduction or yourself? so that our readers would know more about you.

Lillian：Sure! I'm Lillian, a Japanese poker player playing PokerStars 500NLz. I started playing poker in 2017. My husband suggested me to start playing poker because I'm good at math and information technology. At that time, he was stuck at PokerStars 25NLz, and he wanted me to analyze GTO strategy with my knowledge.After I started playing online poker, I quickly stepped up the stakes. After 3 months, I was playing 25NLz and started using PioSOLVER. I also started creating YouTube videos and articles which shows how GTO strategy works, and it became very popular in Japan. Now, my articles became the most popular materials available in Japanese and I'm one of the most popular players in Japan. That's all. :)

千算Poker：That's awesome, we are so lucky to have you as one of the best players in the world as well. Could you please tell us more about your application of computer science in poker?
太棒了！你可以向我們更詳細地介紹一下你是怎樣把計算機知識應用到撲克中的嗎？
Lillian：Of course! When I started poker, I understood that I could utilize my skills about math in poker. Also, I started learning coding because I thought it would be useful to analyze poker more deeply. Actually, that decision changed my life. I found coding quite interesting and changed my job to a software engineer in 2019. I'm now very happy both playing poker and working as an engineer.
沒問題。當我開始打牌的時候，我意識到可以利用我的數學技能來玩撲克(註：Lillian是東京大學醫學博士，有7年半的醫學工作背景)。另外我也開始學習編程，因為我覺得這能幫我更深入地分析撲克。實際上，這個決定也改變了我的生活。我發現編程太又去了，所以我在2019年換了一個軟體工程師的工作。現在我非常高興可以邊寫代碼邊享受撲克。
千算Poker：That's very impressive. So you got a full time job and and playing poker at part-time, is that correct?
所以現在你有一份全職工作，兼職打牌是嗎？盈利情況如何呢？
Lillian：My earning playing online poker is around 100 USD / hour in 2020. Maybe I will be also happy if I choose to become a full-time poker player. However, for now, I also find it interesting to work as an engineer. So, I'm playing poker at part-time for now.
是的。我2020年的線上撲克盈利情況大概是100美金每小時。如果我選擇做一名全職牌手應該也會很開心，不過現在作為軟體工程師也很滿意，所以就只是兼職玩撲克啦。
千算Poker：Amazing hour rate. What's the winrate in bb? If you don't mind what's the sample size?

千算Poker：WOW, glad to see your results. Since you are winning on pokerstars z500 which is the toughest pool in the universe, what's your next plan? Any short-time goal or long-term goal? Any plan for transition? To full time or step up in stakes or go to live play?
哇，領人印象深刻的表現。既然你在Pokerstars Zoom500這個可以說是世界上最難打的玩家池裡打贏了，有沒有下一步長期或短期的計劃呢？比如全職、繼續升級或者是做做直播？
Lillian：Sure. I'm currently planning to start playing 1000NL in PokerStars. I want to become a winning online 5000NL player in 3-5 years. I'm concentrating on analyzing my play intensively than playing many hands and earning money. I'll keep playing online poker part-time until then. I can't wait to see a part-time online 5000NL winner. LOL
當然，我現在正計劃升級到PokerStars的NL1000，希望三到五年內可以成為NL5000贏家。目前我正在集中精力分析自己的策略打法而不是為了賺錢打牌，我會一直保持這個目標直到升級成功。
千算Poker：Before we finish our interview, I would like to ask for something special. Do you have any tips to female poker players? any secret tips?
在我們結束今天的採訪之前，我還有最後一個很特別的問題，你有什麼對女性撲克玩家們的建議嗎？
Lillian：I think that playing online will be comfortable for female players. The conditions are equal between male and female players, and everyone can compete without any bias.
我覺得在線撲克會對女性玩家很合適。男女牌手的條件都是平等的，每個人都可以毫無偏見地參加比賽。
千算Poker：That's true, I think even in United States, there are bias on the live poker table against female players one way or another.Online would be a great alternative.I think that's all for today. And thanks for your time.
