1.數詞分為：基數詞和序數詞 PS：序數詞前需有定冠詞the
2.分數的表達：分子用基數詞，分母序數詞；分子大於一，分母加s
E.g 三分之一 讀作 one third； 三分之二 讀作 two thirds
特殊的分數：二分之一可以用 a half；四分之一可以說 a quarter
四分之三可以說成 three quarters
PS：分數作主語，謂語動詞單複數選擇根據分數所修飾的名詞而定。
所修飾的名詞為可數名詞的複數，謂語動詞用複數；不可數名詞或可數名詞單數，謂語動詞用單數
Two thirds of the students are girls.
Three quarters of the country is covered with snow.
3.hundred(百), thousand(千), million(百萬), billion(十億)的兩有兩無：有s有of，無數字；無s無of，有數字
E.g 2 hundred 兩百 3 thousand 三千 5 million 五百萬
hundreds of 好幾百 thousands of 好幾千
4.時間的表達：整點用o』clock; 半點用 half past; 一刻鐘用 a quarter;
半點以內用 分鐘past點鐘； 半點以外用 餘下的分鐘to下一點鐘 即 (60-X ) to (Y+1)
E.g 8:29 讀作twenty nine past eight 8:31讀作 twenty nine to nine
5.日期的表達：月日年 July third, 2015 日月年the third of July,2015
6.年代的表達：in the 1990s 20世紀90年代；
in the 1990’s 在199幾年；
in one’s 30s 在某人30幾歲時
