6月30日下午，期盼已久的皇馬巨星古蒂終於在上海美高學校足球場內閃亮登場。上海市臺辦、上海市閔行區教育局、天薈公司等相關單位領導及上海美高學校董事長方正在上海美高學校足球場濟濟一堂共同出席了皇馬球星古蒂的夏令營開球歡迎儀式。美高學校夏令營小學員們在體育場入口處穿著統一的皇馬球衣以飽滿的精神狀態迎接這傳奇球星的到來，並在西班牙青訓教練的帶領下分為兩隊手持皇馬隊旗鏗鏘有力地邁入球場。
We had been looking forward to meeting the Real Madrid star, Guti, for a long time. Finally, at the Living Word Shanghai campus, we got to see the legend up close. It was unforgettable. The leaders of the Shanghai Association of Taiwan, the Shanghai Bureau of Education of Minhang District, VIGETO Inc., and Living Word’s Chairman of the board, Fang Zheng, all gathered together to welcome Guti. Together they conducted a moving opening ceremony for the youth football summer camp.
Proudly wearing their Real Madrid uniforms, the summer camp kids waited with anticipation at the entrance of field to greet the football legend. Upon his arrival, their Spanish coaches led them marching onto the field in two neat lines, holding the Real Madrid flag.
「開展校園足球，孩子們的興趣是最重要的，我們希望皇馬的方式讓越來越多的兒童和青少年愛上足球，愛上體育。」主辦方上海美高學校董事長方正先生表示。美高學校的教育理念是提倡孩子們以快樂的心態積極參與到各種活動中來，在這個過程中找到興趣與天賦的交集，使得自身素質與人格全面發展。其他相關部門領導也分别致辭發言共同展望青少年足球美好的未來。
「Developing football on campus and raising the interests of children is our most important task. We hope that the advanced methods of Real Madrid will allow more and more children to love football and love athletics,」 said the event’s sponsor, Mr. Fang Zheng. Our school’s educational philosophy is to foster children to enjoy and engage in various activities. During this process, we help children discover the cross between their interests and talents, resulting in well-rounded, personal development. The leaders from our partnering institutions also made addresses promoting united efforts for advancing the future of youth football.
宣講儀式結束後，古蒂在美高學校足球場正式為皇馬（中國）青少年足球夏令營運動開球，盡情的秀了一把自己瀟灑而秀麗的腳法，現場夏令營的孩子們都為其踢球姿態魅力所折服。
After his own speech, Guti played some football for the opening ceremony. It was truly a privilege to see him show off his skills. Rarely do we get to admire such talent up close!
開球儀式結束以後，古蒂先生從美高學校走出，並沒有立刻進入已安排的車輛，而是非常禮貌紳士地為校園外等待已久的球迷和粉絲一一籤字併合影留念。顯示出這位大牌球星謙遜的作風與職業素養。
After the ceremony, it was time for Guti to depart. However, on his way out, he generously took time to sign autographs for a group of his fans who had been waiting anxiously outside of the school. Spending time with Guti has shown us that he is both a football legend and a modest and decent human being.
古蒂表示許多國際大牌球星和教練加盟中超足球聯賽，對聯賽實力的提升自然有著好處，但對本土年輕人的培養才是最重要的。因此皇馬這次把青訓模式搬到中國，也是為了讓更多的中國孩子愛上足球，並體驗到皇馬的模式。隨著足壇的打假打黑，我國足球的外部環境在不斷得到改善，但是中國足球訓練手段落後，危害性的踢人、踹人、飛鏟動作及攻擊裁判等野蠻行為已經在國內橫行已久，甚至危害到青少年足球的風氣。因此，以傳奇球星古蒂為代表的皇馬基金會的教練和老師們會給我們夏令營的小學員帶來的不僅是先進的足球理念，科學的方法還有文明的足球禮儀文化，以促進小球員綜合素養的提高。相信皇馬「重團隊、懂策略、重分享、懂自律」的核心價值將幫助夏令營小學員們將以新的皇馬精神出現在新的學期中，成為人生的轉折點。
Guti believes that more and more football stars are coming to China. This is beneficial to Chinese football leagues, but the most important thing is to cultivate native football players amongst young children. That is why Real Madrid is willing to share their model of football training with children in Shanghai. While instances of match-fixing, fraud and corruption are on the decline in China, poor training methods and bad sportsmanship have remained a feature of Chinese football for a long time. Naturally, this is detrimental for youth football. Therefore, Real Madrid not only introduces advanced football concepts, but also emphasizes football etiquette and culture, thus promoting comprehensive learning for students.
