上次課我們重點講了英文寫作如何選詞造句的方法。
三個步驟可以選擇最準確的單詞:
找到最基本最常用的單詞，通過同義詞近義詞進行擴展，找到細節更準確的詞彙表達。
再次推薦要學會使用英文近義詞同義詞詞典。可以使用在線辭典免費搜索，也可以購買紙質辭典。
今天通過更多的例子強化大家選詞造句能力。
1.
湖水非常純淨，可以飲用。肉製品必須保存在衛生的環境裡。獻血非常安全，所有裝置都消過毒，用後即棄。
「純淨」，「衛生」，「消過毒」三個詞都表達出「十分乾淨，疾病無法傳播」的意思，可以用clean表達這些含義。
The water in the lake is so clean, you can drink it.Make products must always been kept in clean conditions.Giving blood is perfectly safe. All equipment is clean, used once and thrown away.
這樣三個句子基本含義都體現出來了。
但是，一些細節含義丟失了。
如純淨的「純」，「衛生」，「消毒」等含義都沒有了。
那麼我們看clean，表乾淨的衛生的這個意向下有幾個同義詞--Pure（純淨）， hygienic（衛生的，潔淨的），sterile（無菌的，消毒過的）
用它們來替換一下。
The water in the lake is so pure, you can drink it.Meat products must always be kept in hygienic conditions.Giving blood is perfectly safe，all equipment is sterile， used once and thrown away.
這樣意思更準確。
2.
外國投資者不得購買土地。城市居民最近一直在搶購口罩。他希望在大減價中挑幾件便宜貨。去年他的公司被另一家企業收購了。
「購買」「搶購」「挑」「收購」這些詞都有「買」的意思。可以用單詞buy。
Foreign investors are not permitted to buy land.City dwellers are buying masks recently.He's hoping to buy a few bargains at the sales.His business was acquired by another company last year.
Buy作為動詞的近義詞有 purchase, import, snap up,shop,pick up,acquire.
其中:
purchase，購買（商業和法律用語，比較正式）。
Snap up，搶購
Pick up, 碰巧買到便宜貨
Acquire， 收購，獲得（正式用語）。
使用它們，可以更加準確表達上面4個句子的含義。
Foreign investors are not permitted to purchase land.City dwellers are snapping up masks recently.He's hoping to pick up a few bargains at the sales.His business was acquired by another company last year.

他和我很像，我們倆的身材都一樣。蘇西穿一條黑色緊身連衣裙，把她的身材襯託得恰到好處。嬰兒剛出生時很難控制四肢的活動。介紹瀰漫著腐爛的屍體發出的臭味。這些巖石中有已經滅絕動物遺骸的化石。那位建築師的遺體被埋在大橋邊。
He looks rather like me-- We both have the same size of body.Susie wore a close-fitting black dress which made the most of her body.When babies are born, they have very little control over their body.The streets were filled with the smell of decaying bodies.These rocks contained the fossilized bodies of extinct animals.The architect's body is buried near the bridge.
「身材」「四肢」「屍體」「遺骸」「遺體」等，都可以用一個單詞body來表示。
body作為名詞表示身體，身材，屍體的意向下面有許多近義詞。
如，
Build（體型，體格）
Figure（尤其指女性的身材體型）
limb（4肢，手臂，腿，正式用語）
Corpse （屍體，死屍。常用於將其視為物體，而不是人）
Remains（遺體，遺骸。橙子，過了很長一段時間的屍體，可以是一部分的遺存）
還有torso，physique等。
什麼上面的句子，替換這些詞彙，
He looks rather like me -- We both have the same build.Susie wore a close-fitting black dress which made the most of her figure.When babies are born, they have very little control over their limbs.The streets were filled with a smell of decaying corpses.These rocks contain the fossilized remains of extinct animals.The architect's remains are buried near the bridge.
要提升選詞造句的能力需要按照這種方法多積累有用的詞彙，勤於翻查同義詞近義詞詞典，並多做相關的練習。
