文
創作讓我領略,就宛如歷史洪流中的一點,既往回溯,悠遊歷史與生態大潮的痕跡,同時又朝未來邁進,將數十年對藝術的領會與心得全數熔鑄在昂揚的犀牛角,向前遙望。一旦承載延續和開創的使命,我內心就有一個嚮往:融古塑今,鑄造經典。倘若人皆背負各自的命運課題而來,而古典一脫變成為全新的當代藝術,變孕育出《金剛系列》的誕生。再往後,則有《銅牆鐵壁》《金剛再現》和《赤兔戰馬》等同樣延續我的雕塑風格,欲造型迥異的系列。

Creationguides and leads me to find out that I am as little as a dot in the tide ofhistory traveling back and forth, or a trace been Iaying on the tide of historyand ecology. In the meantime, my footprints keep moving forward toward to thespirited horn to look ahead. Once the responsibility for inheriting the traditionand creating the new has carried, there is an admiration I have been seeking toachieve forages: To integrate the classic with the modern, to create the classicclassical. If everyone was born for their own destiny, and the series of KingKong Rhinos were born to metamorphose classical into brand new contemporaryart. Later on the sculptures of 「The Impregnable Rhino」, 「The reappearing KingKong Rhino」, 「Swift Horse」, and so forth were created all inheriting my stylebut in various appearance.

犀牛文化構成了施力仁個人的藝術史,自寫實樣貌,後將犀牛披上鎧甲視為一種象徵性的處理,使其擬人化、人格化、幾何形體化,從自然、人文到機械化的動物形態,也像似我們人類進化史的隱喻。他將犀牛角雕塑成大拇指,指紋同心圓象徵著生生不息與永恆─不僅代表著每一個人和每個物種的本質,表達了對生命的敬畏,犀牛角的形狀正好構成一種衝破桎梏的突出感,昂然向上指向天際,產生一種積極正面的精神力量。
中華文化中,人類曾經信仰並飼養過犀牛,在歷史上犀牛做為文人墨客特別鍾情的對象之一,如李商隱的詩句:「身無彩鳳雙飛翼,心有靈犀一點通」提點出犀牛是最通靈性的動物,藝術家在這個重要藝術載體創作上,融入自身的文化底蘊,也就是華人傳統「天人合一」這樣的一種人與自然理想的狀態,傳遞愛和正能量。
犀牛做為最古老的動物延續至今,見證著整個人類歷史的進程;施力仁以親近自然、關愛生命、結合中華文明與東西文化藝術之精隨,演化出一件件熠熠動人的作品,呼籲対生態環境的關心,探討對人類生存境遇的憂慮。他的作品警醒我們反思自己暴力對人類自身的傷害,「沒有買賣就沒有殺害」,人們以往只是一味的索取,現在恰恰是我們如何給予,學會與大自然和星球和平相處;犀牛在施力仁手上不只是一個動物化,人格化的象徵,它成為人類對大自然環境的泛指,對我們人類終極命運的深層關切,而使作品更能觸動人心。
The culture surrounding the Rhinoceros has become the narrative of Shih Li-Jen'spersonal artcareer. He started with creations of realistic appearance. Afterwards the Rhinosare depicted wearing armor: a good example of symbolic processing. He haspersonified the Rhino and rendered him geometrically. From nature and humanity to the mechanization of animal form; this also can be seen as a metaphor forthe history of human evolution.
He sculpts the rhino horn as a thumb. The fingerprint of concentric circles symbolizes the life and eternal growth of the natural world.It represents the nature of each individual and species, but is also anexpression of the fear of life. The shape of the horn of the rhino is reminiscentof an outburst, a breaking of shackles, a march toward the sky. It has beenborn a positive spirit and a powerful one.
In China, humansused to respect and feed the rhinoceros. The role of the rhino was one of special inspiration for the poet. For example, Li Shang yin's verse: Forbodies no fluttering side by side of splendid phoenix wings, between hearts theone minute thread from root to tip of the magic horn. It is proposed thatthe rhino is the most spiritual animal. The artist blends his own culturalperspective into the creation of this important artistic symbol. This is atraditional Chinese view of the ideal state of a relationship between peopleand the wild world - Harmony between man and nature. A message of love and positiveenergy.
Thoughit is an ancient species, evolutionarily speaking, the rhino continues toinhabit our world. It has witnessed the whole process of human history. ShihLi-Jen’s work brings us close to nature and a love of life, combined with theessence of Chinese civilization and an East meets West culture of art. He has created many classicworks. His artwork also reminds us to reflect on ourselves - when the buyingstops, the killing can too. People have a history of solely taking from therhino. It is precisely our responsibility to learn how to give, and thereforebe one step closer to harmony with nature and the earth. The rhino is not onlyan animal, but a symbol of the personality in Shih Li-Jen’s creation. It reflectsthe deep concern for nature that is ultimately part of the human condition, asit is inherently linked to the fate of mankind. All this combines to make ShiLi-Jen’s collection one that will inevitably leave a lasting impression onone’s mind and heart.

2016年12月10日下午2點,2016臺灣藝術家施力仁的最新犀牛裝置藝術在北京鑄造美術館開幕。展覽系藝術家十年來的第二次作品開幕,此次主旨在呼籲大眾保護生態平衡,拒絕獵殺買賣犀牛角以及傳播中國犀牛文化,到場嘉賓都親切分享和交流了自己對於藝術家作品和犀牛的感受。中華文化學術研究推廣教育基金會執行長姜竹梅女士、黑土麥田志願者王瑛婕、新東方名講師寧立波、中國當代藝術家師建民、哲學美學雙博士鄒操曾任教於中央美術院實驗系等嘉賓出席了開幕式。展覽得到新浪藝術,空藝術,藝術國際,張雄藝術網等媒體大力支持;藝術國際,張雄藝術網、新媒體蟻視VR參與了開幕式攝像及採訪。感謝!

The Circle of Life is Endless

From nature and humanity to the mechanization of animal form; this also can be seen as a metaphor for the history of human evolution.

今年適逢六十,根據國學大師錢穆先生的釋義,耳順之年對於一切道理皆能明白貫通,不再感到於心有違逆,此段釋文正與我心神的領會不謀而合。從三十而立,四十不惑,五十知天命的數年間,我服務過大大小小的展覽;而今終於再回歸到喜愛藝術與創造的原點,僅僅順應本心,做自己。六十歲一甲子也是生命的轉換點,停下腳步,用一次個展對自己生命的階段予追求以交代,一輩子的渴望和追求如同金剛幻化的使命,象徵著對藝術的初衷將永不改變。
I am sixty years old this year. According to the definition from a Chinese philosopher, Qian Mu, he explains h with heart. that in the age of sixty, a man’s ear wasan obedient organ for the reception of truth with heart. It is just right into the consonance betweenmy heart and soul. At thirty, I stood firm. At forty, I had no doubts. At fifty, I knew the decrees of Heaven, and for those years I have held several exhibitions. Nowadays, I eventually It is a change in the age of sixty, and Ihave to stop to hand and hold myself a solo exhibition for my life. My desireand pursuit for art is the same as the destiny of King Kong Rhino which is justemphasizing my dream for art that will always be the same.
Been involved in artistic career for decades, I trace fleetingly back to where I started, to the place under a longyan of tree in a countryside where I lived for childhood. I was holding a lump ofsoil and so engrossed in making figure that only breeze be heard, and theshadow of the tree covers me and my very first dream. That moment is foreverand ever.
