2020年10月31日，正當我們沉浸在萬聖節前夜的歡樂當中，一則新聞突然打破了歡快的氣氛。初代詹姆斯·邦德（007）的扮演者，英格蘭著名演員肖恩·康納利（Sean Connery）在巴哈馬離世，享年90歲。
一米八八的身高，一口性感的蘇格蘭口音，古銅色的肌膚以及如雕塑般深邃的五官，肖恩·康納利似乎是為熒幕而生，而事實上，他也的確塑造了不少經典的形象。從《鐵面無私》裡的吉米·馬龍尼到《奪寶奇兵3：聖戰奇兵》裡印第安納·瓊斯的父親亨利·瓊斯，他精湛的演技給不少觀眾留下了深刻的印象。
但要問他最經典的角色，卻是「007」系列電影中的詹姆斯·邦德。在1962至1971年期間，肖恩·康納利曾六次出演「007」系列電影，與羅傑·摩爾（Roger Moore）同為扮演詹姆斯·邦德次數最多的演員。但肖恩·康納利卻是公認最好的詹姆斯·邦德，他所用的一切都成為了該系列電影的範本。連最新的詹姆斯·邦德丹尼爾·克雷格（Daniel Criag）也表示他最喜歡的前任邦德演員是肖恩·康納利，他個人最喜歡的邦德電影也是肖恩·康納利出演的《來自俄羅斯的愛》。
