Raging flames roar into an ode, heard by the world to heroes, to heroes.
青天響雷敲金鼓 大海揚波作和聲
The thunder of guns rattles, rough waves bellow high and echo.
人民戰士驅虎豹 捨生忘死保和平
Fight for people, against our foes. Live for peace, die a hero.
為什麼戰旗美如畫 英雄的鮮血染紅了她
Crimsoned by the blood of heroes, banners in sunlight brightly glow.
為什麼大地春常在 英雄的生命開鮮花
Nourished by their lives below, spring flowers everywhere grow.
英雄猛跳出戰壕 一道電光裂長空裂長空
Out of the trenches jump the heroes, a light tears the sky through, tears the sky through.
地陷進去獨身擋 天塌下來只手擎
Slumped earth they resist alone, falling sky they raise up high.
兩腳熊熊趟烈火 渾身閃閃披彩虹
Completely fearless in raging inferno, return with glory in a triumphant rainbow.

一聲呼叫炮聲隆 翻江倒海天地崩天地崩
Cannons roar as bombs explode. Waves crash down as whirlwinds blow, whirlwinds blow.
雙手緊握爆破筒 怒目噴火熱血湧
Pipe bombs they firmly hold, a flame with rage, faces glow.
敵人腐爛變泥土 勇士輝煌化金星
Decaying with soil, bodies of foes. Sparkling like stars, glory of heroes.
