位於阿聯阿布達比的阿布達比碼頭（ADT）最終選擇科尼作為自動化堆垛吊（ASC）系統供應商，以建設Khalifa港二期貨櫃碼頭（KPCT）。
該訂單總共包含54臺自動化軌道吊（ARMG）。合同雙方約定不公開交易價格。雙方將會在2018年第四季度籤訂正式合同。

KONECRANES WINS PORT AUTOMATION DEAL IN THE MIDDLE EAST
Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has selected Konecranes to be the supplier of an Automated Stacking Crane (ASC) system for the second phase of the building of its container terminal in Khalifa Port: the Khalifa Port Container Terminal (KPCT).
This is an order for a total of 54 Automated Rail Mounted Gantry (ARMG) cranes. The parties involved have agreed not to disclose the value of the deal. The order will be booked in Q4 2018.
Konecranes earlier successfully delivered 52 ARMG cranes, on time and on budget for the first phase of KPCT container terminal, which went live on 12/12/12.
The second phase involves a large expansion of the terminal area, infrastructure, container handling capacity, and the delivery of 54 Konecranes ARMGs. This is a major system delivery, and Konecranes』 ability to deliver on time and on budget was an important factor for Abu Dhabi Terminals.

The 54 ARMG cranes of this order will be similar to those delivered in the first phase. They will have a lifting capacity of 40 tons, stacking 1-over-6 containers high. Thirty of the cranes will be nine-wide, and twenty-four will be eleven-wide. They will be equipped with automation controls and Konecranes』 Active Load Control (ALC) system. ALC combines advanced sway control and horizontal fine positioning, providing very efficient container handling in the ARMG yard during both automated and remote operation.
