前天才上演完《王者歸來》的川普再一次被推特無情地貼了警告標籤。
當地時間10月6日，前一天才剛剛出院返回白宮的美國總統川普在社交媒體上發文再次淡化新冠大流行的影響，將新冠病毒與流感做類比。隨後，臉書和推特對相關言論做了處理。
川普在社交媒體上發文稱，「流感季快來了！儘管有疫苗，但每年仍有許多人，有時候甚至超過10萬人死於流感。難道我們就要封鎖國家嗎？不，我們已經學會了與流感共存，就像我們正學著適應新冠病毒一樣，在大多數群體中，遠沒有那麼致命！！！」
該帖文直接遭到臉書無情地刪帖，而推特雖未直接刪除，但在這條推文上貼了警告標籤，稱總統散布與新冠相關的誤導性或有害信息違反了推特規定。

就在川普再次地宣稱新冠病毒並不可怕的同時，白宮玫瑰園活動又一高官感染新冠病毒。
10月6日，美國《國會山》報導稱，美國白宮高級顧問史蒂芬·米勒新冠病毒檢測結果呈陽性。當天，米勒在一份聲明中表示：「在過去5天裡，我一直在遠程工作並自我隔離，直到昨天(5日)為止，每天的檢測結果都呈陰性。然而今天(6日)，我的檢測結果呈陽性。目前我在隔離中。」
值得一提的是，米勒的妻子是副總統彭斯的新聞秘書凱蒂·米勒（Katie Miller），她今年5月新冠病毒檢測結果已呈陽性。

繼白宮後，五角大樓也「淪陷」了！同一天，美軍參謀長聯席會議主席馬克·米利（Mark Milley）等多名美軍高官開始進行自我隔離。
美聯社報導，此前與米利一同開會的海岸警衛隊副指揮官查爾斯·雷（Charles Ray）在5日確診感染新冠病毒，成為首位確診的美軍高官， 致使至少14名美國高級軍官開始自我隔離。

The news emerged Tuesday afternoon after the Coast Guard announced its vice commander, Admiral Charles Ray, had tested positive for the virus and he would be quarantining at home.
Ray attended meetings with other senior officers at the Pentagon last week, according to a spokesman.
