受疫情影響，動物園遊客驟減，最近，英國愛丁堡動物園快養不起大熊貓了，畢竟咱們國寶漂洋過海，旅居海外，住著「豪宅」，每天新鮮的竹子都得安排上，這些都是一筆不菲的開銷，簡直就是行走的RMB。愛丁堡動物園表示，現在實在沒錢，可能得把熊貓送回中國了……

每年，愛丁堡動物園要支付大約100萬英鎊的大熊貓租金。2021年，為期10年的大熊貓租賃協議就要到期了，由於新冠疫情，迫於財務壓力，愛丁堡動物園可能不得不送熊貓們回家了。

雖然疫情對動物園來說打擊不小，不過有些國寶們反而「因禍得福」，少了熙熙攘攘的遊客圍觀，原本害羞的國寶們開始解放了天性，香港海洋公園發現，閉館後，熊貓盈盈、樂樂竟然自然交配成功了，要知道，之前它們試了10年，都失敗了.....

照顧熊貓的工作人員介紹，看到它們成功交配真的太驚喜了，因為通過自然交配懷孕的機率比人工授精要高。

熊貓回國並不是一件容易的事，跟人一樣，熊貓也要重新適應環境，吃慣了「西餐」、聽慣了外語的國寶們，也面臨水土不服、語言不通的情況。
