In late November 2020, Qinghai Lake began to freeze. According to satellite remote sensing monitoring, the ice areas have been over 10% of the lake area, indicating that Qinghai Lake has begun to freeze. Qinghai Meteorological Office data shows that freezing period of Qinghai Lake this year was 1 day later than last year, and 11 days later than the average in the past ten years.
